Freerolls is tournament there you can participate without a fee, but still have the chance to win money! In most cases, you have to be registered at the poker room that holds the tournament to be in a freeroll. You can usually find freerolls every day; details about start time are normally to be found in the poker rooms lobby.

Nowadays freerolls are almost a compulsory element in poker rooms. Although it can be hard to find freerolls for other variants besides Texas hold’em.

There is no catching about freerolls. If you make it to a price place and win some money, these will be at your disposal in exact the same way as you won them in a tournament with a fee.

There is of course a negative thing that so many players are participating in freerolls and that the prices are not so big.
